Frank Weisenberger is a planning professional supporting indigenous groups with project planning and management, community consultation, stakeholder engagement, and meeting facilitation. With a tertiary background in Applied Geography, Anthropology, and Tourism Management, Frank has spent the past eighteen years collaborating with Indigenous communities across Australia and internationally on conservation planning and strategic natural and cultural resource management.
Frank has developed extensive expertise in facilitating the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation, specifically through Conservation Action Planning and Healthy Country Planning projects. He has trained, facilitated, and coached teams in these approaches and has contributed significantly to the development and application of these methodologies. Frank also serves on the Management Committee of the Conservation Coaches Network (Australia and Aotearoa) and coordinates the Community of Practice - Indigenous Conservation Standards Projects.
