Digital observatory for protected areas

The Digital Observatory for Protected Areas (DOPA) is a set of web services and applications that can be used primarily to assess, monitor, report and forecast the state of and the pressure on protected areas at multiple scales. The data, indicators, maps and tools provided by the DOPA are relevant to a number of end-users.

Terrestrial Ecosystem Research network

TERN is Australia's land ecosystem observatory and provides access to Australia's terrestrial ecosystem data. Expect to find a wide range of data-sets on plants, animals, freshwater, soils, vegetation, oceans, coast, climate, agriculture, human interactions and extractive/energy industries.

IUCN ReDLIST

The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ contains global assessments for over 120,000 species. More than 80% of these (>96,600 species) have spatial data. Find on this page a wealth of species data-sets divided by taxonomic groups.
